(City Apartments)

EDEN TERRACE, AUCKLAND

A unique site with unparalleled views down Grafton Gully to Rangitoto and the Hauraki Gulf this small city lot makes the most of an unusual site perched at the edge of the motorway. Comprising two generous apartments with parking underneath, this project sets to redefine luxury city living. Developed and curated by Artifact including internal design direction, the project transforms exposure into condition.

Clad in black metal, the tough exterior shell opens up to pocket corner decks lined with warm timber, large expanses of glass to make the most of the extraordinary views, and large, light-filled open living spaces.

Interiors are defined by continuity - timber, glass and stone arranged to prioritise outlook and spatial clarity. Services are fully absorbed into the architectural field.

An urban edge resolved through restraint.
